Artist Statement:

Alongside the tremendous development of technology, using smart-devices all day long has become an inseparable part of human lives.

Devices such as smart phones, laptops, tablets and other modern gadgets have had a huge impact on humans’ daily lives. A large number of people, especially youths, have been accustomed to using these modern gadgets. They spend a large amount of time on technology-oriented activities- even in their beds, for example, before falling sleep.  Some of them surf social networks, some read articles, others follow news while some connect with their loved ones overseas. We should accept the fact that technology has made its way into the most private moments of human lives whether it be for better or worse. Negative criticism has never stood in the way of technological developments and never before has technology been advancing so rapidly and in so many different directions.

.

In this project, without any personal judgment, I have entered the private lives of who not only accept the presence of technology in their beds, but who also allow a digital camera in their bedrooms to record their every move.
